Our Mission is to limit isolation and enhance security by providing a smartphone, as well as USB power, lighting and internet to the most rural regions in Africa. We aim to operate at an affordable price while creating local jobs in West Africa. Our team is working diligently to ensure the power of modern electricity is easily accessible to everyone, as it should be.
OUR EFFECT
By providing modern electricity to some of the most rural regions of Africa, Winko is striving to create more opportunities for individuals in both the Democratic Republic of the Congo and West Africa. In these two regions combined, over 250 million individuals are considered off-the-grid. By providing modern electricity, Winko will improve safety conditions, educational efforts, and economic stability for those that need it.

Akonkwa is currently an MBA Candidate at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, graduating in 2021. Akonkwa has a background in CS and forensic technology.
Mathieu Wing Hang Tse
Co-Founder & COO
Mathieu received his MBA from the China Europe International Business School, class of 2020. Mathieu serves as CEO of WingTech, and partner of Forthinvestment, and African microfund.

Adeoke is the first Team Member of Winko Solar. He uses his unmatched intelligence to strategize and individualize business operations and communications on the ground in Togo.
